We are seeking an experienced Waitstaff / Bartender / Supervisor to join our team at Copper Bar and Grill restaurant in South Townsville, QLD. This is a permanent position, ideal for those looking to work flexible hours in the hospitality industry.
What you’ll be doing- Providing excellent customer service by greeting and seating guests, taking food and drink orders, and delivering orders in a timely manner
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages at the bar
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, placing orders when required
- Assisting with the supervision and training of junior waitstaff
- Handling cash and credit card transactions, and balancing end‑of‑day sales
- Ensuring the restaurant and bar areas are clean, well‑stocked and presentation‑ready at all times
- Minimum 1‑2 years’ experience in a similar waitstaff, bartender or supervisory role in the hospitality industry
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to provide a friendly and attentive dining experience
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing high‑quality service
