What you’ll be doing- Supporting the Head Chef torun a fast paced, high energy kitchen
- Putting your stamp on a menu full of elevated pub classics, weekly specials and seasonal updates
- Leading, coaching and inspiring a young team who look to you for standards, guidance and a bit of fun
- Keeping service sharp, organised and calm even when the place is pumping
- Owning stock, ordering, food safety and day to day kitchen operations
- A Sous Chef who loves the thrill of a busy service and takes pride in every plate that leaves the pass
- Background in bistro, tavern or high volume venues
- Strong leadership with a hands on mentality
- Solid systems knowledge – ordering, stock control, compliance
- A genuine team player who brings positivity, energy and passion to the kitchen
- A stable roster and supportive management
- Creative input into menus and specials
- A venue that values fresh flavours, good produce and even better attitudes
