About the PositionThis Sous Chef role offers $80,000–$90,000 and the opportunity to work in a well-supported, professionally run kitchen. Position Description- Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and service execution
- Lead sections confidently during peak services
- Assist with menu development, specials, and seasonal planning
- Maintain food safety standards, compliance, and kitchen cleanliness
- Oversee prep schedules, stock control, and ordering when required
- Train, guide, and support junior staff to build skills and consistency
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong CDP ready to step up
- Strong understanding of high-volume bistro operations
- Proven ability to maintain consistency and quality under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
- Relevant certification in commercial cookery
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
