As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef to lead daily kitchen operations and uphold our high standards of food quality, safety and service. You’ll help train and motivate the team, manage prep and service flow, and ensure consistent execution of our new menu across all sections.
Key Responsibilities- Lead kitchen operations alongside the Head Chef
- Maintain top quality food standards, presentation and consistency
- Oversee prep, service, ordering and stock management
- Train, mentor and support junior team members
- Maintain WHS, food safety and cleanliness standards
- Contribute ideas to menu reviews and venue relaunch activities
- Assist with rostering and labour cost management where required
You’re a driven, energetic chef with a passion for fresh, vibrant pub dining. You’re confident during peak service, team-focused, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering consistency.
- 2–3+ years’ experience as a Sous Chef or strong CDP ready to step up
- Strong cooking fundamentals and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A positive, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage high-volume service
- Full Australian working rights
- Exposure to CTB and willingness to adopt as a KPI in your role.
