We're looking for a Sous Chef to join the team at Da Bepi, our cosy Venetian-inspired cicchetteria. You'll be working alongside our Head Chef to deliver a tight menu of cicchetti and seasonal classics, creating a fun wine bar environment in our open kitchen.

Reports to: Head Chef / Venue Manager
Location: Da Bepi (Brunswick, Melbourne)
- Hands‑on prep, cooking and service across all sections
- Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation standards
- Supporting kitchen staff and leading when required
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and menu development
- Overseeing service in the absence of the Head Chef
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
- Strong organisational skills and calm under pressure
- Passion for Italian cuisine and simple, honest flavours
- Reliable, collaborative, and proud of your work
- Ability to work nights and weekends
