Full‑Time PositionThis is a full‑time, ongoing position based in Jugiong, NSW. Standard working hours: 38 hours per week, with flexibility for weekends and evenings as required.
Occupation Tasks- Organises and controls the operations of a cafe, restaurant or related establishment to provide dining and catering services.
- Planning menus in consultation with Chefs.
- Planning and organising special functions.
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
- Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
- Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
- May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate hospitality teams.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and execute functions and events.
- Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards.
- Financial management experience including stock control and budgeting.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field; OR
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
- Additional on‑the‑job training or relevant hospitality certifications may be required.
