Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager
Salter Brothers Hospitality Retreat Company No. 2 Pty Ltd is inviting applications for a full‑time Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager based in Blue Mountains, NSW 2785.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure restaurant, bar and event service meets company Sequence of Service and RSA requirements.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to produce appealing and unique menus.
- Coordinate bookings including functions and events.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and hygiene legislation/guidelines.
- Achieve food and beverage operational and financial objectives.
- Resolve guest complaints tactfully and promptly.
- Maintain accurate stocktakes and optimise ordering of stock.
- Adhere to current budgets and targets.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety Act and regulations.
- Motivate and drive the food and beverage team through ongoing training, coaching and mentoring.
- Relevant qualification in the hospitality industry.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven management experience working in hospitality/customer service environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and get results.
- Exceptional organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
- Technical product knowledge in food and wine.
- Understanding of budgets and forecasting.
- Knowledge of POS and end‑of‑day reconciliation procedures.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 per annum.
