Samson’s Paddock is Mosman Park’s local restaurant, whisky & wine bar. Our menu is designed to be shared, seasonal, modern Australian cuisine. Our kitchen lead by Georgi Partenov, deliver a diverse range of share plates, sourcing from the best producers and bringing this to our tables. We are a relaxed, casual dining experience;

We are friendly, informative & attentive– we have an incredible whisky list and a constantly evolving wine list with a local focus. With a two tiered alfresco garden & 3 fireplaces our rustic charm is enticing all year round. Samson’s Paddock is a world class culinary environment, it is demanding and we expect a lot from our staff. Duties & Responsibilities

Close the restaurant, supervise shifts as the approved manager

Lead the team by example, coordinating ongoing training programs

Detailed understanding of our company culture, systems, offering & products

Planning menus in consultation with Chefs

Planning and organising special functions

Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget

Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance

Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service

Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff

May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders

Work with the kitchen to manage the flow of service

Be able to manage problems during service and understand how to resolve

Complete the cash up at the end of a shift

Responsible for rostering of full-time & casual staff to ensure appropriate staffing

Assisting in the management of stock levels and financial transactions

Ensure all staff follow procedures, delivering a quality fast & friendly service

Be able to handle customer feedback / manage expectations during service to ensure customer satisfaction

Understand each role within our front of house team and be able to assist where required

Skills & Experience

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic hospitality professionals who are committed to providing an outstanding experience.

You will be a process driven person, highly organised with a strong attention to detail; striving to build your career in the hospitality industry.

You will ideally already possess 1+ years of hospitality experience in a comparable Management role.

The role requires a high level of communication and commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience.
