Flavor Lounge is a privately owned Australian company located at Shop 6, 2 Wilmot Street, South Toowoomba, QLD 4350. It is a well-established and popular dining venue known for its authentic Indian cuisine. The restaurant offers a diverse menu that includes traditional curries, tandoori specialties, street-style snacks, seafood dishes, vegetarian and vegan options, freshly prepared naan breads, and classic Indian desserts.
We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Restaurant Manager to join our team. The restaurant is based at Shop 6, 2 Wilmot Street, South Toowoomba, QLD 4350, and we offer competitive compensation based on the candidate’s experience and skill level.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Organize and plan the events.
- Buying and pricing goods within a set budget.
- Working with chefs to plan the menus in the kitchen.
- Developing creative and seasonal menu offerings.
- Keeping track of stocks and finances.
- Making sure dining areas meet health standards and are clean and attractive.
- Making sure that all food safety rules are followed.
- Interact with customers to see if they are happy with their meals and services.
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff.
- Choosing, training, and managing waitstaff and kitchen workers.
- Sometimes taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with the orders.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant discipline is required,
- Committed to adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the kitchen.
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: 8 hours shift
Ability to commute / relocate location: Shop 6, 2 Wilmot Street, South Toowoomba, QLD 4350. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience: At least 1 year (Preferred)
Salary: $77000 annually + superannuation
Work authorization: Australia (Preferred)
