We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused Restaurant Manager to lead one of our McDonald’s restaurants and drive outstanding results across Quality, Service, Cleanliness, Value (QSC&V), sales, people and profit .
This is a senior leadership role where you’ll take full accountability for the performance of the restaurant, lead and develop a high‑performing management team, and ensure every customer leaves with a memorable McDonald’s experience.
ResponsibilitiesAs Restaurant Manager, you are the leader of the business and will:
- Take full accountability for restaurant performance, profitability and results
- Lead, coach and develop your management team to deliver strong outcomes
- Drive exceptional customer experience and food safety standards
- Build sales through local marketing, community connection and operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with safety, security and award requirements
- Drive restaurant profit and growth through effective budgeting, planning and analysis
- Monitor performance using key metrics and reporting tools
- Conduct weekly department catch‑ups and hold leaders accountable to targets
- Lead execution of the Operations PACE cycle and action plans
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety and operational standards
- Coach teams to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Build and execute a restaurant business plan focused on growing guest counts
- Implement local store marketing strategies and new business initiatives
- Build strong relationships within the local community to strengthen the brand
- Lead succession planning and long‑term people development
- Coach, mentor and performance‑manage managers through regular reviews
- Build effective management rosters aligned to rostering principles and award requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high‑performance culture
- Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Maintain full compliance with the Fast Food Industry Award 2020
You are a confident, accountable leader who:
- Has strong experience leading large teams in a fast‑paced environment
- Is commercially minded and comfortable managing budgets and KPIs
- Leads by example and holds high standards
- Is passionate about developing people and building future leaders
- Thrives on responsibility and ownership of results
Experience in quick service, hospitality or retail leadership is highly regarded.
