Full-time position available for a Pastry Chef or Baker to work at Milkwood Bakery Berry in the Shoalhaven on the NSW South Coast.
A good work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for quality baked goods & ingredients are essential.
The ideal candidate for this role understands and has a strong appreciation for producing Artisan quality pastry items. This position will require some weekend work.
You will be required to always maintain the kitchen/preparation area in an exceptionally clean and organised manner.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:Genuine love of good and honest food, made with care, and produced from quality ingredients.
Minimum Qualifications: Certificate III in Baking, Certificate III in Cake & Pastry, or Certificate III in Bread Baking.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Carrying out pastry kitchen operations efficiently.
Setting the team's work schedule.
Training & supervision of apprentices.
Creating and testing new recipes.
Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe work environment.
Must work early hours, 4:30 am.
Must have current Australian work rights.
