What will I be doing?

• Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceeded
• Assist in the development of hotel budgets and other short- and long-term hotel strategic goals
• Actively manage key property issues and projects such as ESG and hotel renovations.
• Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations
• Coach department leaders to ensure their costs are controlled throughout the operational departments. Analyse results and highlight opportunities to take appropriate action
• Actively seek guest feedback to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Respond to audits that are completed to ensure continual improvement is achieved
• Comply and exceed hotel and company service standards

What are we looking for?

• Strong commercial acumen, preferably within Rooms Management in a similar sized hotel
• Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and strive to exceed targets
• Excellent people motivator; strong communication and leadership skills
• Goal-oriented with obvious drive and self-motivation
