The Opportunity
We’re looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our passionate kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef who loves Italian food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and wants to grow their career in a respected hospitality venue.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality dishes with creativity and consistency.
Assist with menu development, considering seasonality and cost control.
Supervise kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Assist with stock control, ordering, and monthly stocktakes.
Train and mentor apprentices and new kitchen staff.
Support event catering and private functions.
Maintain a positive, professional work environment and lead by example.
What We’re Looking For
Diploma-level qualification plus 1 year relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience.
Passion for Italian cuisine and strong knowledge of hospitality standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Broad experience across all kitchen sections
Reliable, proactive, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
