Job description & requirements


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supervising and coaching junior team members.
  • Ensure consistent food quality through regular checks.
  • Participate in mise-en-place and food production.
  • Record food wastage and manage stock ordering.
  • Conduct month-end inventory stock checks.
  • Collaborate with Resident Chef on kitchen workflow improvements.
  • Maintain team hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Fulfill additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years relevant experience in a fine-dining environment, preferably in Italian Cuisine
  • Willing to learn, coach & adaptable to change
  • Positive in attitude and approach to work
  • Energetic, cooperative, initiative, and well personal hygiene
  • Valid Food Hygiene certificate
  • Ability to commence work immediately is a plus
