About the OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced and driven Sommelier to join our team at Chin Chin in Surry Hills. You will have an unwavering passion and appreciation of wine. This is a hands‑on role with focus on service delivery.
Ideal Candidate- Experience as Sommelier / Wine Waitstaff in a high volume restaurant
- Basic knowledge in local, national and international wine
- Passion for wine and the industry
- Exceptional service skills
- Excellent communication and organisation
- Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day to day operations
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a high pressure environment
- Possess a valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol
- WSET or CMS qualification or equivalent advantageous
- Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
