About the firmMy client is a boutique accounting group with offices in Brisbane and Mackay. They specialise in the restaurant and hospitality industry and have grown quickly over the past few years with a reputation for being fun, bold and genuinely supportive of their clients and staff.
Across the group they have 40 accounting staff including a large offshore team of 25. They use Xero Practice Manager, fixed fees, no timesheets and provide excellent internal training and development allowances.
About the roleDue to strong growth across their hospitality client base, the Directors are seeking an Accountant to join their Brisbane team. You’ll work closely with a small onshore team and a large offshore team to prepare and review tax and compliance work, assist with tax planning and advisory, and communicate with clients when required.
WFH flexibility is available 1 or 2 days a week and more senior part time applicants are encouraged to apply.
Experience required- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in an accounting firm
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Hospitality industry experience is ideal but not essential
- CA or CPA studies supported
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work productively and autonomously
- Salary range of $88,000 to $105,000 including super
- 5 weeks annual leave
