Delhi Rocks located on Kings Street, Melbourne CBD is looking to employ two (2) full time qualified and experienced Senior Chef / Chef to manage their busy kitchen.
Salary $76,000 to $78,000
To be considered for this role you must have;- Australian Trade Certificate 3, 4 and Diploma in Hospitality
- Minimum 1 to 4 years full time Australian experience (or equivalent) working in a busy Indian kitchen cooking traditional Indian cuisine
- Preference will be given to applicants having knowledge and experience in Indian cuisine
- Experience in planning menus, developing recipes, preparing, cooking and maintaining food quality
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Instruct cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Select and train kitchen staff
- Ability to maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipment safely.
- Ability to maintain a COVID safe workplace.
- May need to work varied shifts as also on weekends.
