About DP HOTELDP Hotel is an acclaimed establishment in the heart of the alpine village. We pride ourselves on creating a memorable experience for every guest. With a huge lounge, three spectacular open fires and a vibrant bar, the General Manager will be key to overseeing all aspects of the business to ensure exceptional guest service and financial success.
Key Responsibilities- Leading, mentoring and managing all staff and fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Overseeing all daily operational procedures, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, quality control and facility maintenance
- Managing the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, P&L reporting, cost control and revenue generation strategies
- Developing and executing local area marketing and promotional strategies to drive patronage
- Ensuring strict adherence to all licensing, health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Working closely with Management to align hotel operations with long-term business goals and strategic planning
- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management and P&L responsibility
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of operational excellence
- Relevant hospitality qualifications and current licensing (e.g. RSA, relevant state liquor licenses)
