NOW HIRING: Hotel Duty Manager Full Time | Salary: $77,000 per year Roebuck Bay Hotel – Broome, WA. The Roebuck Bay Hotel is seeking an experienced, proactive, and service-driven Hotel Duty Manager to join our leadership team. This is a full-time role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure all standards, procedures, and service expectations are upheld.
• Support the financial performance of accommodation areas, including budgeting, cost control, and identifying opportunities for revenue improvement.
• Lead and mentor the Hotel Services Team, ensuring training, performance, and service delivery align with expectations.
• Manage customer experience outcomes, resolve complex guest issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update online content, loyalty programs, and promotional activities in collaboration with Marketing and Events.
• Conduct inspections, uphold quality standards, and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, WHS obligations, emergency readiness, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor security procedures and assist in emergency management responses.
• Report on departmental performance, guest satisfaction, occupancy trends, and operational improvements.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in hotel, motel, or accommodation management (Front Office experience highly regarded).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• The ability to make confident decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in property management systems and operational reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Hospitality Management or relevant industry experience (preferred).
• Current unrestricted C-Class Driver’s Licence.
• Strong working knowledge of safety, compliance, and accommodation operations.
