About The Role

The Hospitality Services Manager reports to the Director of Property and Shared Services and is responsible for supervising and coordinating cleaning, laundry, and catering services within Calvary Kooyong Precinct. The role ensures contemporary, quality and efficient meal and food services for patients, residents and guests, overseeing housekeeping, cleaning and laundry services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative dining experiences while ensuring safety, training, food‑safety standards and a positive workplace culture for the hospitality team.
  • Ensure cleaning and laundry services meet required standards, proactively manage safety and utilise safety equipment and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Property and Shared Services to monitor service quality, conduct audits, and develop business plans to support service development and budget management.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of output for Calvary Bethlehem patients, Huntly Suites and Hyson Apartments residents.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in catering/hospitality or trade qualifications including the Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Health Competencies), with experience in a healthcare environment (hospital or aged care).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, actionable steps ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Proven leadership experience with staff management, coaching and mentoring.
  • Excellent multitasking, prioritisation and delegation skills across kitchen, cleaning and laundry areas.
  • Experience organising hospitality service operations, managing catering revenue and costs, and handling supplies.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality reports, business cases, operational planning and service‑development submissions; proficient in MS Office.
