Duties- Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen, towelling and residents’ garments
- Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments
- Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required
- Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry
- Rubbish removal, dish washing and general cleaning
- Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
- Dusting, polishing and general tidying
- Cleaning bathroom facilities
- Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality
- Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
