Phatboyz Smokehouse and Kitchen is a young dynamic business, renowned for its low and slow barbeque. It's legendary in regional Ipswich for its sell‑out traditional barbeque dishes from brisket and pulled pork to some more contemporary low and slow with a twist.
About the positionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and experienced Head Chef to join our crew, no experience in the American BBQ industry is required as you will work alongside our experienced Pitmasters. If you are passionate about the industry and pride yourself on producing amazing meals to feed the crowds then this is the job for you!
Australian work rights are essential for this position.
A minimum of Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification is required.
You will work alongside the Front of House Manager, the owners and some amazing chefs to build on the success of the business and continue to grow it into the future. All training on the Low n Slow aspect will be provided and you will get to work alongside some of the best pitmasters in Australia.
