Executive Chef – Ajman

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ajman. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the kitchen, including menu and recipe development, food preparation, staff management and training, and inventory control. You will also be required to maintain a high level of food safety and sanitation standards. We are willing to consider applications from foreign nationals for this position.

Salary: 900

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation and presentation, staff training and safety standards
  • Develop new recipes and menus based on customer feedback
  • Monitor kitchen staff performance to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure quality purchasing decisions are made based on quality ingredients that are cost-effective
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed
  • Supervise food preparation activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Track all expenses related to kitchen operations
  • Develop strategies to reduce wasted food or ingredients while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience is preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting is required
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff members
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
