About the RoleThe Hakfoort Group is seeking passionate and experienced Duty Managers to lead hotel operations at Tingalpa Hotel in Tingalpa, QLD. This full-time leadership position is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional eager to contribute to a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily hotel operations , ensuring the highest standard of guest satisfaction.
Lead and develop a skilled and motivated team .
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless operations .
Monitor hotel performance metrics , identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations .
Assist the Hotel Manager with strategic planning and decision-making .
About YouApplicants should have formal qualifications and at least two years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least three years of relevant employment experience as a Duty Manager in Food and Beverage or similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Proven ability to manage hotel operations , including food & beverage services.
Strong customer service focus with excellent problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills .
Proficiency in hotel management software e.g. wirely an advantage
In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, policies, and best practices .
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required.
Gaming and Keno experience highly regarded.
You should hold a current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (or be willing to obtain).
