About The Role

As a Commis Chef in the Misono Kitchen, you will support the Head Chef and a dynamic kitchen team in preparing high quality dishes for luxury guests. You will be recruited as an experienced and dedicated professional ready to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Critical Responsibilities

• Communicate assistance needed during busy periods to the Chef to ensure optimal service
• Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
• Monitor food quantity and portion sizes
• Prepare ingredients—portioning, chopping, storing
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
• Prepare and cook food
• Set‑up, clean and break down workstation
• Apply sushi‑making skills and techniques in the Sushi Bar
• Set to order guest requests as per menu
• Organize interactive sushi class for kids

Successful Candidates Will Have

• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Strong food safety knowledge
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Passion for food and desire to grow culinary career
