From the team at Snug in Coorparoo / Camp Hill, Bar Cooper’s is a soon‑to‑open, small neighbourhood restaurant focussing on simple food with great execution.
We are seeking a full‑time Commis Chef. Salary range $62 – 68k depending on experience.
We will operate Wednesday – Sunday with a variety of shifts available.

Working around a wood‑fired oven and charcoal grill, Bar Cooper’s will operate a little differently, with no divide between front of house and back of house. Our team works together towards a common goal of offering a unique experience and a high‑quality product.
Our open kitchen and bar area with counter seating means that you should feel comfortable interacting and serving our customers directly, have great product knowledge, fantastic personal hygiene and general cleanliness.
Responsibilities: prepare, cook and present meals; greet and engage with guests, operate the till, have basic knowledge of our drinks offering, run food & drinks and clear tables.
The position is ideal for a chef looking to be more well‑rounded without compromising the quality of their work.
