You will be responsible for providing an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers. The Commis Chef is responsible for preparing a consistent, high-quality food product and ensuring courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
Achieve the highest standards in applied hygiene and food safety as per HACCP guidelines to ensure the food served to guests is of the highest quality and standard.
Support the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef directly in daily operations and take full responsibility for your section and tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of work experience as a Commis Chef or 2 years as an Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards. Basic culinary skills and good hygiene knowledge are required.
