About Us

Yeti Restaurant & Bar, located at Shop 2, 79 Edmund Street, Kings Beach QLD 4551 within the Shearwater Resort, is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team.

Position

Full-Time Chef

Salary Range

$70,000 – $80,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

Duties

• Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Planning and developing menu items in consultation with the Head Chef
• Monitoring food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety procedures
• Supervising and training junior kitchen staff
• Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards

Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (compulsory)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Chef
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation and presentation
• Strong time management and teamwork skills
