Job Title: Head Chef

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Khalifah A City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent leadership qualities and a strong understanding of food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff in providing high-quality dishes and creating an atmosphere that encourages creativity and collaboration. You will also be accountable for developing new menus, managing the budget, and training and supervising other chefs.
Responsibilities
- Create new recipes, menus and food concepts based on customer feedback
- Ensure that all kitchen staff understand their responsibilities and adhere to food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all ingredients are available when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by overseeing staff compliance with health regulations
- Train new chefs and provide ongoing development opportunities to existing cooks
- Manage budget while achieving desired results in terms of quality and profitability
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Ability to lead teams effectively while motivating them to produce quality results
- Knowledge of general cooking techniques, food safety regulations and latest trends in cuisine
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to accept foreign applicants is highly valued
