Position OverviewThe Club is seeking to appoint a chef to join the existing kitchen team. Restaurant service runs Tuesday – Sunday with functions arranged. This is a full‑time position, including weekends, days and nights on a rotating roster. Conditions are as per the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award.
Responsibilities- Receiving and ordering stock
- Ensuring presentation and quality of food being served
- Following direction and standards implemented by the head chef; communicating any issues that may arise with the head chef or Management
- Having the skills and attributes to complete cooking tasks
- Completing prep work and cooking for service
- Maintaining hygiene regulations and food standards
- Helping to develop the skills of apprentice chef and work with a team
- Correct storing of food
- Package: Above award – negotiable for the right candidates
