Synergie Australia is seeking experienced Chefs for a leading catering provider within the mining industry located at various Queensland mine sites.
Important Parts- Roster : Work a rotating roster 2:1
- Pay rate : From $47 per hour, super paid weekly
- Start : Immediate starts available for the right candidates
- You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment maintaining high standards while collaborating with a supportive team.
- Prepare and cook high-volume meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner accommodating dietary requirements.
- Manage stock and inventory including ordering, receiving and rotation while minimising waste.
- Work closely with kitchenhands, utilities and supervisors to ensure smooth meal service.
- Support broader camp operations as required.
- Comply with all workplace health safety and PPE protocols.
- Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Preferably have prior experience working on a mining site.
- Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 preferred.
- Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
- Have a current Police Check.
- Have full Australian rights.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance at all times.
