About Us:SushiSora is a popular and fast‑paced Japanese restaurant located in Newport (Northern Beaches, Sydney). We are known for our quality food, great service, and supportive team environment. Due to the upcoming departure of our current kitchen staff, we are urgently seeking a reliable and skilled Chef to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese hot dishes (e.g. donburi, udon, tempura, teriyaki)
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Work efficiently during busy service times
- Assist with kitchen prep and cleaning duties
- Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience (Japanese cuisine preferred)
- Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Reliable, clean, and organized
- Valid working rights in Australia
