We're looking for an experienced and talented Chef to join our team at our busy restaurant in Hillarys, Western Australia. As a full‑time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our customers, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our established hospitality business.
What you’ll be doing- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our diverse menu
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to achieve efficient workflow and timely service
- Assisting with menu planning and recipe development
- Ensuring all kitchen operations adhere to relevant health and safety regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service and responding to any customer requests or feedback
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef in a fast‑paced restaurant environment
- Formal culinary training or qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Passion for creating high‑quality, visually appealing dishes
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to providing a great dining experience
