About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified chef who takes pride in delivering fresh, beautifully presented, and flavourful dishes that reflect the warmth and simplicity of Italian cuisine. You’ll work alongside a supportive team in a newly established café/restaurant, focusing on high-quality seasonal produce and traditional techniques with a modern twist.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present breakfast and lunch dishes to an excellent standard.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development and daily specials.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-focused kitchen culture.
- Be adaptable and open to learning new techniques and recipes.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- Passion for Italian cuisine and fresh seasonal ingredients.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to grow with the team.
