Clancy's Fish Pub is seeking several qualified and motivated Chefs to join our team at our Canning Bridge location.
Clancy's Fish Pub are fast paced venues. We serve quality restaurant style food, specialise in craft beers and local wines and have the best views from the kitchen!!
We are seeking individuals who :
- Have had experience working in a busy kitchen – relevant trade qualification (Diploma level) and at least 1 year experience.
- Ability to prepare present dishes quickly and consistently.
- Ability to work in all sections of the kitchen including cold larder, grill, pans and fryer work.
- Be able to work under the guidance of the Head Chef, but to work autonomously when required.
- Have good organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Be self-motivated and happy to work in a team environment.
- To prepare and cook dishes including modern Australian cuisine.
- Stock rotation.
- To prepare various ingredients, meat, fish, seafood, vegetables, condiments, sauces.
- To portion control and plate presentation of each meal.
- To run a section including grill, pans, fryer and general kitchen duties.
- To cook food using different cooking methods – grill, deep fryer, oven, hotplate.
- To clean and maintain cooking equipment and kitchen in general.
- To work within and ensure a safe working environment in her kitchen.
- To adhere to the food and safety hygiene guidelines of the Health Dept of WA.
