Cart21 cafe and lunch bar – Forrestdale WA

We are seeking an experienced Chef - Multicuisine to join the team at our vibrant Cart21 cafe and lunch bar located in Forrestdale WA 6112 . This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of international cuisine in our fast‑paced cafe environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing a range of multicuisine dishes including Indian, Chinese, Italian and Australian cuisine
• Ensuring all food is presented to a high standard and in accordance with our recipes and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Assisting the Head Chef with menu planning and development
• Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a chef in a fast‑paced cafe or restaurant environment.
• Strong technical cooking skills with the ability to prepare a wide range of international cuisines
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a high‑pressure environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the front‑of‑house team
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Formal culinary qualifications (Cert IV in commercial cookery) an advantage
• Applicant should have full working rights
