You’re more than just a Chef, you’re a fantastic communicator who thrives in a small team, supporting the daily dietary needs of children. You’re enthusiastic, professional, and genuinely enjoy creating a positive impact through food!
What You’ll Bring to Our Wonderful Kitchen:A passion for preparing healthy and delicious food for children.
The ability to prepare and provide nutritionally balanced meals, following a set menu and accommodating individual dietary requirements and allergies.
A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations , standards, and the centre’s food safety program.
A professional and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to develop positive relationships with families, children, colleagues, and the community.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Current Food Safety Certificate.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training.
Experience within an early childhood setting will be highly regarded (but not essential if you have the passion!).
