About Breeze CaféOur client Breeze Café is a popular hospitality venue in Aldinga Beach, South Australia known for its relaxed atmosphere, quality food and excellent customer service. They are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join their growing team.
About the RoleThis full-time role requires an experienced chef with the ability to work in a busy commercial kitchen, prepare high-quality dishes, and maintain consistent standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to Breeze Café standards
- Assist with menu planning and development of specials
- Manage portion control, food quality, and presentation
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and WHS compliance
- Monitor stock, assist with purchasing, and manage inventory
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
- Completed Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, and Diploma of Hospitality Management
- Minimum one (1) year of full-time experience in a commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Availability for weekends, public holidays, early mornings, and shift work is required.
