We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team at Sunil & Anil Associates Australia Pvt. Ltd' in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time position will see you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. Only considering applicants currently in Australia.
What you’ll be doing- Preparing and cooking a wide range of authentic South Indian and few North Indian dishes to the highest standards
- Developing and refining menu items to showcase the best of Indian culinary traditions
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized kitchen environment
- Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff
- Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborating with the management team to improve kitchen operations and efficiency
- Significant experience as a Chef, specializing in Indian cuisine, Fine Dining experience is an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients and cooking techniques
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership, work ethic and teamwork skills
- Food safety certification and relevant qualifications required
