Job DescriptionChef TUSCANY UNTOUCHED PTY. LTD is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join their team on a full-time basis (minimum 38 hours per week). Main duties and responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Create seasonal menus and other special menus;
- Inventory food, ingredients, and supply stock to prepare and plan vendor orders;
- Manage the budget;
- Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques meet our high standards;
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment;
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation and ensure appealing plate presentations;
- Demonstrate techniques and advise on cooking procedures;
- Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff;
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen areas;
- Verify compliance in preparation of menu items and customer special requests.
- Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
- Management and leadership skills
Position: Full-time (at least 38 hours per week) Possible working location: Gosford NSW 2250/Long Jetty NSW 2261/Terrigal NSW 2260 Salary: $76,000 - $90,000 per year
