Yi Sushi, operating under GOHONZON PTY LTD T/A Yi Sushi, has served the community since 2011, specializing in authentic Japanese cuisine. We offer a menu of fresh sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, bento boxes, ramen, poke bowls, tempura, and noodle dishes, served through dine‑in, takeaway, and delivery.
We are looking for a skilled Specialized Chef to join our team in Beeliar WA. The role is a full‑time, permanent position with a salary of $77,000–$80,000.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese and Asian‑inspired dishes with precision and consistency.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support menu development and contribute creative ideas to improve offerings.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff when required.
- Manage stock rotation, monitor inventory, and assist with ordering supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Assist the Head Chef and management team with smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a chef in a fast‑paced kitchen.
- AQF Diploma in Hospitality Management and AQF Certificate IV in Cookery.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques is highly regarded.
- Relevant culinary training or certification is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deliver high‑quality dishes during peak service hours.
