Welcome to Eden Academy Harris Crossing. We are a child safe organisation, committed to the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of all children.

Operating from 6.30am to 6.30pm our centre is home to up to 130 children, and our kitchen plays a vital role in their daily wellbeing. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to create delicious, balanced and nutritious meals in our commercial‑style kitchen, supporting children's growth, energy and love of healthy food.

As Our New Chef, You Will

• Plan and prepare fresh daily meals aligned with nutrition guidelines and centre requirements
• Confidently cater for all dietary needs, allergies and food sensitivities
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised kitchen
• Engage with children and educators to encourage positive, healthy eating habits
• Build warm connections with families and contribute to a strong sense of community

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery OR
• Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent
• Food Safety Certificate
• A current Working with Children Check
• Strong understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
• Australian Working Rights
• Impeccable personal presentation
• Experience in menu creation, bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control
• Proven experience in commercial cooking
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
