Centre Chef – 6-Month Maternity Leave Contract

Welcome to Eden Academy Parafield Gardens — a child‑safe, nurturing community where you’ll create meaningful impact every day. We’re looking for a talented Chef to run our commercial kitchen and fuel 108 little learners with nutritious, balanced meals. This contract runs for 6 months, with hours between 7am–6pm .
What You’ll Do:- Create fresh, healthy daily meals aligned to nutrition guidelines
- Confidently cater for allergies and diverse dietary needs
- Keep our kitchen spotless, safe and well‑organised
- Champion healthy eating with children and educators
- Build warm, genuine connections with our families
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality
- Food Safety Certificate + WWCC
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements
- Experience in menu planning, bulk prep, ordering, stock and budget control
- Australian working rights + Monday–Friday availability
- Professional presentation and proven commercial kitchen experience
