Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu, ensuring quality, flavor, and presentation standards are met.
- Plan and execute daily food preparation schedules to maintain efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor food stock, ensure proper storage, and manage inventory to minimize waste and maintain cost controls.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials that reflect our commitment to fresh, innovative cuisine.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- A Diploma in Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and health and safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A team‑oriented mindset with great communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
