Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present a wide range of high-quality dishes with consistency, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menus, new dishes, and appealing daily specials.
- Assist with menu design by incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients while ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Maintain exceptional standards in flavors, portion control, and plate presentation across all services.
- Support, mentor, and guide junior kitchen staff to foster a positive, productive team culture.
- Manage kitchen stock levels, assist with ordering, and contribute to effective waste-reduction strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, keeping the kitchen well‑organized and compliant.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of catering, functions, and special events to enhance the guest experience.
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques, preparation methods, and creative menu development.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, paired with a genuine passion for hospitality.
