About the position

In terms of food, Wests New Lambton is home to multiple dining options. With a selection of restaurants, as well as the Wests Food Court offering traditional Club food offerings and modern options including the Bistro and New Beijing to cater for all. Our busy food court now has an opportunity for a Full Time Chef to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items across our food outlets and restaurants.
  • Ensure prep sheets are completed.
  • Prepare high‑quality food during service.
  • Assist other sections when required.
  • Clean work areas.
  • Assist with set‑up and close‑down of service.
  • Store food to hygiene standards.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately.

This position will require availability for split shifts for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

About you

We are seeking an energetic team player with a passion for food and good service. You pride yourself on presentation & consistency. Experience in a fast‑paced kitchen, strong cooking skills with trade qualifications, will be highly desirable. You will be available to work nights, weekends and be flexible to assist with all catering operations across the site.
