Roccella Italian Restaurant is now looking for an experienced Chef to join their team.


Right candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring temperature of raw and cooked food to avoid any hazard;

  • Ensuring that junior chefs and trainees receive the right training and optimum guidance;

  • Train new members for platings and cooking procedures;

  • Respect the hygiene requirements including managing service for customers with allergies;

  • Serve and present food up to the required standards;

  • Coordinate timing with the other sections during service;

  • Supervising kitchen team members;

  • Prepare and cook high quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes;

  • Cooking a variety of dishes from the menu;

  • Wash, cut and slice vegetables and fruit for meal preparations;

  • Slice, cut, season and cook fish, steaks, burgers and other types of meat;

  • Making pasta and sauces from scratches;


About you:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Chef;

  • Strong cooking and management skills;

  • Ability to work unsupervised and for extended periods of time;

  • Strong communication skills;

  • Ability to manage Food orders and own section;


Job type: Permanent / full-time


Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
