Overview
Job Title: Chef • Location: Dubai, UAE • Salary: 1700 AED/Month. We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our restaurant in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work independently and manage a team of kitchen staff. The Chef should be creative and have a passion for preparing delicious food and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Create menus with the latest culinary trends in mind
- Manage the kitchen staff and oversee their daily tasks
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipe specs and presented beautifully
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor portion control to ensure cost efficiency
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality ingredients are delivered on time
- Train kitchen staff on food safety regulations and kitchen protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a chef or related culinary position
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
- Up-to-date knowledge of cuisine trends and recipes
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work with foreign chefs (preferred)
