Breakfast Chef Vacancy at The Place Kitchen Full‑time!As our Breakfast Chef, you'll be the driving force behind our open kitchen, delivering exceptional breakfast experiences to our guests. Your main role will be to prepare delicious, high‑quality morning meals that captivate both the palate and the eye. Working at the open kitchen station, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while engaging with guests, creating an inviting and interactive dining experience with your skill and lively personality.
Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and cook high‑quality breakfast items, ensuring consistency and presentation meet the hotel’s standards.
• Organize and oversee the breakfast service, ensuring timely and efficient preparation of buffet offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with HACCP standards.
• Work closely with the kitchen brigade to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction.
• Manage the stock levels for breakfast ingredients and ensure proper rotation and freshness.
Requirements:All working rights in Australia.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above.
Strong communication skill in English.
Proven experience in a breakfast chef or similar role, ideally in a hotel or upscale dining environment.
Strong knowledge of breakfast items and techniques, including egg dishes, and buffet setups.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Current completed qualifications and sound knowledge of a variety of techniques. We encourage you to share photos and/or any social media posts featuring your work.
Understanding of HACCP and ability to ensure standards are maintained.
A true passion for food and customer service and ability to work in a team.
Ability to work early mornings and on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
