Bar Lucio café is small but busy café' located in Bondi Junction, close to public transport and trainline.
We have a strong focus on Italian cuisine using fresh produce baked in house.
We are looking to hire a breakfast chef with previous experience working in a similar setting.
About the Role This position is casual/ full time, 5 days a week including weekends, no nights. We are open from 6.30-3pm weekdays and 7-3 weekends.
What We Are Looking For - We are looking for a breakfast chef with passion and knowledge in the kitchen.
- Prior experience in Café Preferred of at least 2 years
- An eye for detail and must be able to produce well presented dishes.
- Dedication and Motivation in the Kitchen
- Consistency in Quality
- Be able to create Seasonal Menus
- Weekly Specials
- Preparation of food to a high standard
- Ordering
- Stock Control
- Must be available weekends
- Strong team focus - must be able to communicate with front of house team for smooth service.
- Ability to solve problems and think-on-your-feet.
